Here’s everything that you can get with your Vivint home system
Unlike most security companies, Vivint’s automation and security offerings are available to renters. Here are a few of the more in demand sensors and services:
Burglary detection
Motion alarms and glass sensors can alert you when an unwanted intruder enters your place. Receive a notification to your mobile device when an sensor triggers, or activate your devices remotely to let in maintenance or guests when you’re out.
Fire, flood, and safety detectors
Ordinary smoke detectors usually come as part of your rental unit, but probably not other safety alarms. Install a wireless carbon monoxide detector or water alarm to notify you and the monitoring agents to problems before it’s too late.
HD security cameras
Your security cameras can be wirelessly put up so you can watch over indoor rooms. A doorbell camera allows you view -- and converse with -- visitors at the front door. Watch live HD feeds and notifications about lurkers through your mobile app.
Round-the-clock monitoring
One of the benefits of using Vivint is the monitoring team that respond to tripped alarms. If a sensor trips, your monitoring agents immediately contacts you to see if you’re safe. Then they’ll turn around and call the fire or police departments.
Automation components
Automation items, such as smart lighting, can be put in to make your apartment more energy-efficient. Some components like a smart thermostat or smart door locks may involve prior landlord approval.
The Vivint App
Your Omaha security system is able to be managed anywhere is the world with the Vivint App. See HD security camera feeds, remotely turn on and off alarms and cameras, or set up times for alarms and lights. Then receive notifications to your smartphone if an alarm triggers or a camera sees suspicious motion.
